yes music quality is better via a headset, there is still a small amount of "hiss" tho, but the big change is music over bluetooth, i use a sony audio adapter (HWS-BTA2W) connected to my sony STR-DB790 home cinema amp (my music is always played in stereo on it and not in surround mode) and it now sounds really good, with all current firmwares the music sounded a bit hard and not quite crisp and the base was overblown, but now the music sounds smooth and lush, it has a great baseline also, it getts your feet tapping now as it should have done back when the n95 came out, also its more stable streaming the audio to both the sony adapter and my nokia BH-500 headset

Well I dont know if its me or not but after the upgrade the phone just
seems to run better. Faster turning off and the menu seems quick too.

Just need to find some widgets now...

When using Phoenix, does the product code matter as it does in NSU?

Is this a reference to the fact that this weekend will be Easter?

Phoenix Service Software 2007.4.6.170

The readme for RM-159_210016_N95-1.exe states :

*NOTE
Phoenix Service Software 2007.20.9.28808 (or newer) and Prommer (FPS-10 or FPS-20 ) Flash Update package 07.19.023 needed.

Has anyone used v2007.4.6.170 to do a working flash?

Thumbs up Thanks ... it worked for me too.

During the flash process, the phone continually froze at the first reboot.

Assumed that this was a cable driver problem and re-installed the Nokia Update S/W to get the latest drivers installed.

Phone is flashing as I type .... ahhhh .... who said patience is a virtue?

Yes, using that version.

OK, now installed and have added myself as a user, however, when I run it I get the following errors>>>

The following errors occurred during the loading and initialisation

of TSS Product API. Phoenix will not be fully functional.

Please reinstall Phoenix to fix the problem.

Could not pass connection object to Product API.

Could not start Security Check feature.

Could not set Product Detection mode.<<<<<<<<<<<

Then the following error>>>>>>>>>>>>

Coult not initialise product polling

HRESULT 0x80040154 (-2147221164)
This means:
Class not registered<<<<<<<<<<<<

Then I get the login screen.

I have not attempted to work out how to use it yet, but will have a go this weekend.

Too late now as I have to be up very early in the morning.
