New for 5800 - Qustions

Hello all!
I bought a new Nokia 5800 for myself. the version is 21.0.025.
And as a new user, I have a few questions, so please be patient with me
1. I have a problem. when i'm entering:
White button-->settings-->personal-->themes, then i thrown back to the Personal page. so i can't change or choose any option from that... what can i do?

2. What is Hard Reset? What is Software Reset?
3. How can i create SMS that will send in future time?
4. Should i upgrade to version 31? and if so - should i upgrade first to all previous versions?
5. Should i do Hard Reset before any upgrade?

I know it's a lot of questions, but i prefer to ask all together and not be dispersed.
I'm thanking everyone that will help me, but please - only if you know what you saying.

Well?
No one can help me with even few of those questions?...
As you can see I deleted the questions that I know the answers now.

first you should DEFINITELY upgrade to v40 firmware, it brings kinetic scrolling and much better usability improvements for the 5800.

to send an sms in the future you need to install one of the 3rd party apps to do this. i dont know which ones are good so maybe someone else can help with that. or try some google searches or search the ovi store.

you no longer have to worry about hard resetting your phone or anything during firmware upgrades. some people still do it, but i dont. your personal settings will be saved before and after the upgrade. however as a precaution you might want to do a backup before you upgrade the firmware, just in case something goes wrong during the update. but that probably wont happen.

It will make a beep when it is done. Also, if you look on the screen, the "pancake stack" in the upper right that indicates battery level will no longer be animated when it is plugged in but fully charged.
