i think the aniviewer will just loop the gif when you browse it but not really loop for the boot up, just like the seleQ feature for gifs.

hmmm i tried a animated Gif but it dident work :(
just showed it STILL wasent moving or anything
could you tell me of the app that helps here I want to make my own boot up logo...

You have to convert the gif to multiframe mbm picture format.
Try XnView for converting:

Havent done it myself though.

Maybe it wont animate, just show only the first frame.

I set an animated gif as my background pic on my 3650.
It's NOT playing the animation, only the first frame.
I'll have to play around with this more.

No, the perfect resolution would be 176x208 which is the resolution of the display. Anything larger gets shrunk to best fit and anything smaller has a white border around it.

About Xnview,i never found the option for multiframed mbm's.
If anyone did,please let me know.

Yeah, been looking at it too, just a moment ago.
But there is no such thing in xnview.
It plays those, but cant make em. :( damn.
