Exclamation Can't register Navigon after N95 V20 FW - Help needed

Hello guys and girls!

After Nokia FW V20.x upgrade I can not register Navigon MN 6.305 anymore.
When my N95 ("classic) connects to internet (with correct serial entered) to verify my license I get "Authorising Required".

So whats changed with new FW V20.x ?

I have discussed about this issue with Navigon support several times, but nothing. They say "Cant do anything" - Ask Nokia for help.

So atm, My Navigon does not work. I am asking help from you guys and girls.

Anybody with same problem?

Sounds like a navigon problem, not nokia.

Id start ranting (polite but firm) saying its blatently their problem, and if not, how exactly is it nokias problem?

As anvigon is connecting wanting to be authorised, of course its a navigon problem. Keep on to them.

I tried, but people at Navigon are not interested to fix this.

Well, lets wait.

Sorry to hear, but at least we now know not to buy their products. Shame you had to loose your money for us to find out :(

Right now, while TomTom still is sound asleep, other GPS brands should be out there taking market shares like Garmin and R66 do, but I guess Navigon aren't intelligent enough to realise that...

Yup. It seems that Garmin is gonna take some market share soon.

I am just waiting if any other Navigon users can confirm my problem.

Hi!

Navigon tech support just confirmed that Navigon will not work on Nokia N95 if firmware V20.x is installed.

They will fix it as soon as possible...

Hi, Just joined . I had Navigon 6.3 installed when I updated my N95 to V20 and have today applied the Navigon update to 6.3(50). I was not asked to validate Navigon after the update.

After reading this thread I went outside and tried it and it works as normal. All my settings are still there unchanged.
