I DID pay over £300 for my P800. In fact, I paid £530, plus £45 for a case plus £70 for a memory stick duo, £70 for a bluetooth headset and £40 for a bluetooth dongle.

That's precisely why I CAN'T afford £20 for a piece of software!

Just kidding ;-)

How much money do you have to burn on this phone? Do you use it a lot for work as well or something or just a gadget freak?!!!!

why did you pay 530 for it? when it came out in england, it was available two weeks prior to the official release as an offline phone, even then it wasn't over 500,

Hehe, not a problem mate, it was bound to come up sooner or later anyway(me being a mod and all)..

I personally still see a huge difference between MP4's and warez etc, but at least noone can arrest me for not allowing warez whilst allowing MP4's anymore..

Btw, I bought my P800 in December and payed about $1000 for it. I've also bought accessories for about $350++, as well as software for about $300++, adding up to more than $1650..

I'm embarassed to admit that I got more than a little carried away with the hype, and hugely frustrated by the huge delay (especially in the UK). In the end I convinced myself that it was worth paying over the odds for one of the first commercially available units in the UK.
ops:

Ah, who am I kidding. It was worth every penny and I'd do it again :-)

Yeah I've got to start spending a bit of money on it I think.... have only been downloading free stuff or trial versions....

Am going to check this Pjotter trial version out tonight, definitely sounds like something I'd buy.

Plus the AED looks very interesting too, if only just for constant brain stimulation!!!!

And definitely got to get me one of those damnfangled 128mb sticks so I can come back to you for those MP4's!!! :P

Let's not get the issues mixed up. I'm sure why a lot of people here want the link to the Camcoder is not because they cannot afford it, but are dying to try it out. I'm sure more than half here would gladly pay for it if it was for sale.

But I'm sure we can discuss about it. Without the link that is.
