including midi file

Please try to understand my problem clearly and let me know the possibilities.

1.I know that we can not play midi files using Nokia UI API.
2. I also know that we can play midi files using MMAPI which i dont want as ther are few phones which support it.

My requirement is playing midi files using Nokia UI Api in the nokia phones which has only MIDP1.0 software. But Nokia UI api can only play the wav files.

Can any one give me a solution like is it possible to include the midi player in the J2ME application which enables us to play midi files. Is it possible....can any intelligetn guy explore on this...

i would be grateful to you all.....i
i am also exploring on it....and if i get a solution...i will surely share with you all...
