use SMART to encode AVI's, look on the forums for optimal settings

Personally I'd recommend just using the standard Nokia Multimedia Converter - http://forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia...erter_2.0.html

You won't get the full resolution that you get from DIVX, however it's worth remembering that the N80 doesn't have full PC resolution anyway so you're essentially using processing power to decode pixels that won't be displayed.

You end up with some considerably smaller files this way and provided you're only planning on using them on the phone this is probably the best way to do it.

I ended up with SUPER which worked well, and allowed me to play files that had been shrunk, through the Real Player already in the phone.

I want to know of a program that shrinks normal avi files, but keeps them as avi files so i can play them with the divx player or smartmovie... i figured there would be a whole lot of programs that would do this but i cant seem to find any...anyone help???

Cheers, I'll try that.
