N97 Call quality

Good Morning all.

I have an N95 and was wondering if the call quality and reception on the N97 are better?

I just this week upgraded to the N95 from an N80 and I am VERY happy with the better reception and sound when I make and receive calls. I can now make calls in areas I would drop out before.

I may have to get a new phone through work in the next month or so, I hope not but we shall see, call quality and reception are more important to me than any other feature.

What are peoples thoughts on this?

Thanks

Eric

Since version 11 firmware I can honestly say that the call and reception qualities of the N97 are equal to my N95 8GB.

call quality

since the firmware upgrade it is getting better. However it is still far away from my n95 and my n85! I reallyy hope the next firmware will improve this again. If i use the speakers of the n97 in my car it is even worse. The n95 gives by far the best reception in areas with bad or low signal reception.↲room forimprovement NOKIA!

Hardware

Do the high end Nokia handsets use the same hardware for calling and reception?

I am wondering what difference the firmware makes to this process?

I did not notice the firmware upgrades making any difference to the calling and reception of my N80, it certainly made it run faster.
