Can anyone confirm if Music Player now retains album art added using the native features without having to retain the image on the phone ?

How comes I can't update...? Still says V 20.0.015.

Is it because it's been released in other countries 1st?

No it isn't auto-rotating it just plays the cips in 'widescreen' so you have to rotate it to watch. If you check again you'll see it is when he plays the video fullscreen that it changes orientation BEFORE he rotates the phone.

The main attraction is Flash integration. There are other alleged improvements like battery life but if you aren't fussed about flash i'd wait and see what a few weeks of use from early adopters tell us about that before deciding.

Its been released to NSC's and also some naughty people who have got a cracked version of Pheonix and a copy of the firmware and done it themselves.

Which unusually is still linked in this very thread. Bottom of page 4.

Thought it would disappear much sooner.

I think the 'link' aspect has been removed (i.e. so its not clickable), but the plain text of the address is still there.

OK, so given that this is lacking the new technology (whose acronym I still can't remember) that retains all your settings, this is my todo list. It really is quite ridiculous.. probably more complex than an XP re-install now. To save time, I think I've found the xml files that contain internet radio stations, but does anybody know where I can find bookmarks, podcast feeds, webfeeds, video centre feeds, etc, etc?

Backup calendar & contacts
backup Nokia Phone Browser\Nokia N95\Phone memory\Data\Images
backup Nokia Phone Browser\Nokia N95\Phone memory\Data\Others
backup radio stations & presets from Nokia Phone Browser\Nokia N95\Phone memory\Data
backup python apps from c:\Python
goosync

Remove Card

Flash

replace card
restore files as above

T-mobile settings from their website

reset wifi access points

restore calendar and contacts

re-install and set upTruphone

reset 3 email accounts.

re-install Handy Calendar

set GooSync settings in syncml

re-install Calcium

set active Standby shortcuts

Check ShareOnline is latest version (if not download from beta labs) then setup Flickr and OviShare accounts

Stowaway Keyboard
use N73 driver from
http://www.mobilityelectronics.com/s...22&ModelID=483

re-install accelerometer plugin + rolling ball
re-install light sabre
re-install Ratatouille game
re-install wwigo from http://www.motvik.com/

Check VideoCentre feeds. If not there, then key them all back in

re-install sloved French/English dictionary

re-install python via http://opensource.nokia.com/projects/pythonfors60/
pyPoziomica
pyMoneta
pyPiwo
pyRybka
pyBudzik
restore other python scripts from backup

re-install Y-browser

re-install HandyTaskman

re-install Podcasting then key in all feeds if absent

set FM radio stations:

allow music player to index

re-install LCG jukebox

check music store

internet radio now included? If not, install from beta labs.
If internet radio stations are missing...

check Home Media, let it index.

re-install ShazamID (free version 1.90)

Check Maps, re-register
re-install Landmarks, if absent:

re-install Sports Tracker
re-install 3dtracking from http://free.3dtracking.net/downloads.aspx
re-install GeocacheNavigator from http://www.geocachenavigator.com/

location tagging on photos now built-in? If not, install from beta labs
re-install Google Maps

set all web bookmarks:

set all web feeds:

Yes, its that exact reason I wont be bothering straight away... in fact, seeing as I dont care for flash on my N95 over having to reinstall everything to how I want it, so I'll skip it for now unless I hear its going to offer more than just that... battery life seems to be the only one of interest.

If Nokia can provide the firmware update to it's service centres, why not have it on NSU? All they have to do is upload it to their server for all to use.

To coin a phrase from a well known television figure:

I dunno... Im not an NSU person.

But, the service centres dont update in the same way... or at least they didnt...

would be worthwhile Nokia making it one... as it is doing the exact same function if they havent already.
