Your S60 smartphone as a drum machine!

Wow. The uses for a S60 smartphone just keep on growing. AAS friend Saku Tiainen has just released BeatEd, a full, professional drum sequencer/machine - just plug in your headphone lead from your smartphone into an amp and you're away! Break out your guitar and start rockin' out. Links and video demo below the break, enjoy!

Read on in the full article.

That is a seriously cool piece of coding!

It seems that it would be a relatively small leap to implement a full MOD tracker on S60, especially considering the Amiga demo heritage of the author's group...

Fantastic! Fist steps on what I hope is a Bhajis Loops solution for S60 devices. I would pay any money to get a full sequencer back in my pocket!!

That's really cool. I'm not a drummer (yet!), but it looks like fun...

I really like this beat-sequencer, for people who still have an old symbian device (like me n-gage , there is a full tracker from http://slajerek.demon.pl/mobitracker/, i am not sure if the developer will be happy i posted the link here, but this software may not be unnoticed I hope Saku/byterapers will make a full tracker from BeatEd, so we can use new devices (allthought i still love my n-gage)...
