N97 themes that don't slow down the phone

I find that all non-default themes (even non-black default themes) slow down N97 v21. Am I wrong? Are there cool themes that are quite responsive on N97?

I have found a few that are just as fast as the preinstalled themes, it's a case of trial and error i'm afraid, Ian also mentioned to me once that it doesn't depend on the size in mb's of the theme either, just how well it's made

I tend to find that using themes that keep the default icons don't slow the phone down.

I tried all and got a 50-70% performance reduction. It was obvious.

Besides, themes with custom icons look nice but they don't replace icons for 3rd party apps, so they stick out like a sore thumb.
