play pps file in nokia c6-00

Hi all,
I am new member to the forum.

I recently bought nokia c6-00.

When i am opening powerpoint file with .pps extension it is not opening as slideshow but it is showing as unzipped content.

But when i am opening with .ppt extension it is opening normally in editing mode as a normal ppt file.

How can i play slideshow with .pps files in nokia c6-00?

PS:Quickoffice version in my handset is 6.2.524

Thanks in advance.

Ramu.

Try upgrading QuickOffice, or if that doesn't help, ask QuickOffice support for assistance: http://support.quickoffice.com/

(I assume, that if the latest QuickOffice doesn't handle .pps files, then QuickOffice would have to add support for .pps files in some future version, and that there's nothing you can do as a user except to wait, or use a PC/Mac for those files, if you can't get access to the original .ppt/.pptx otherwise.)

Hey,
I think you can use another symbian application to open any office files, but I think that QuickOffice can read and edit any files made with MS Office on your computer, but not "play" presentation.
You can use any other reader supported presentations and I have there one link I've found.
http://code.google.com/p/officereader/
But this app support only files created with OpenOffice.org and I don't know if you can run presentation.
I hope this would be helpful.

I think your handset is not supporting the file but don't worry you can download the fileviewpro software for any kind of files.
