Yeah andy i tried those codes and they didnt work.......and ive just tried closing all programs, and taking our my memory card and that didnt help either lol.

Yes, that is your IMEI.

Strange the codes don't work, I've never heard of that before so I'm going to ask a really stupid question; you are pressing first the bottom left key once, then the bottom right key once, then the bottom middle key once then the 'mno 6' key once, then the bottom right key once?

And *#0000# doesn't give anything either?

it should give you your firmware version etc...

how about your mac address? *#mac_wlan* does that work??

Forgot to ask, do the characters show on the screen as you press each key?

Yeah all characters show - what happened before is i would enter the code, and on the last digit it would "disappear" like it normally would to show you the code, but nothing would happen.

The if i pressed * just once more, it took off my messaging and contacts softkeys at the bottom lol.

Just confirmed by trying again though - it definately still works and i can get my IMEI and Firmware etc WOOHOOO!
