Any software to make the flash stay on like a torch?

I tried spot on but all it done was turn the red light on... Any recommendations?

Sorry we are all still waiting. I have tried Ntorch Lite but that has the same results.

Yes, we're waiting. In the mean time, the best solution is probably simply using a picture of a white paper/surface as torch. That would light a room quite well, although the fix is more quick and dirty.

nokia cant seem to get this right... they either have a decent flash which doesnt work as a torch (n73,n95 for example) or they have a rubbish flash which also works as a torch (n93/n93i)...

whereas ericson have a wicked torch and flash on a majority of their phones (altho their torches have been missin from a couple of newer phones... weird)

Maybe the newer flashes run too hot if they're on for an extended amount of time...

I don't think Nokia have got anything completely right with the N95. They are trying to be too many things to too many people; a jack of all trades, master of none.

I think SE made a wise decision splitting their range into a Walkman range and Cybershot range. With time they should mature nicely and work on the core features. Nokia does not seem to know where it's at any more, i really think they are suffering an identity crisis right now. I mean, what the hell was that freaking abortion of a phone, the N91, all about. There is way more innovation going on at SE right now, Nokia just want to sucker people in with a pointless mega pixel race right now. And they have relied far to much on third parties writing good software for Symbian, only problem is that hardly anyone does.

i think the ones with a proper flash get hot, but the LED ones like N95 dont, so I think its just a software issue why it doesnt work, caused by the addition of the red light.
