I don't see the problem here.. Just copy all your music to your PC via USB and then to your N8...

Micro SD card

I presume your music is on the micro SD card. Remove it from the 5800, insert into N8. Job done. I seem to remember the N8 scanned the card and picked up the music from there. You can use the file manager to copy to internal flash if you wish.

I want to put it on the N8's card can I just restore from a PC backup?

Have you tried connecting the two phones directly via USB? N8 supports USB-on-the-go, so using the supplied USB-adapter cable you can access a regular USB memory stick directly on the N8.

Not sure if it works with a 5800 --> N8 connection, but its worth a go

Apart from that, the memory-card switch is actually pretty easy.

1. Make sure all your music is on the 5800s memory card, and not internal memory (if the 5800 even has such a thing).
2. Place your 5800-card in the N8.
3. Copy your music from the 5800-card to the N8's internal memory (copy from F:\Music to E:\Music ).
4. Place your own (new) N8-card in the N8 again, and move the music from N8 internal memory to your N8-card (move from E:\Music to F:\Music again).
