Formatting N70 Phone Memory
I need to format my N70 phone memory. I've tried the *#7370# code but it just restored the settings to original. I've also tried the 'SEND'+'3'+'*' at power on and same thing. Does anyone know how to fully format the N70 phone memory so that the whole operating system is restored from ROM.
Thanks in advance.

Thnaks. But the 7780 option is similar to the 'Restore Original Phone Settings' available in the Phone Settings sub-menu which restores some setting while 7370 restores all setting and both do not do a full format. I need a command that restores the operating system to its factory setting and not just some options. The problem with my N70 is that it became slower after running some software which (as I think) left some processes running in the background (even after restarting the phone).

As far as I am aware, *#7370# should completely strip the C: drive (RAM) and copy a virgin set of files across from the Z: drive (ROM)
What files do you think you have that you want rid of? Have you tried a manual file search using FExplorer?

Formatting of nokia n70
Dear sir,
Please advise me how to format my nokia N70 ME along with my memory card. Actually the problem arrived as follows :
Whenever I place my memory card into my N70, it doesn't allow me to open any application, not even "menu". But when I remove the memory card, my phone works normally. I had used my memory card in another phone, its workingly perfectly. Now I can't understand where is the problem. Hence I decided to format both - my phone as well as memory card.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vivekluvsu

It Even happened with me.. I use N72 (S60V2).
First remove your memory card. Then give the mobile a Hard Format (i.e., switch off ur mobile n then press '*'+'3'+'call button' together n power it ON.
continue holding the three buttons unless u see "formatting" on the screen.
It may not show that "formatting" thing on the screen but u may see that u r asked for the region u live in along date n time. U can be assured that, it has been formatted.
Next enter ur memory card.. n just go to tools->memory n then format it..
It worked for me..
CAUTION: Hard format is going to delete all ur data(contacts n everything)
