Question Copy sub-group of contacts to SIM? (Q in 6220-forum)

Sorry for the "intrusion", but since there seems to be a lot more visitors here and my q below is (a little) general, I hope someone will be so kind to visit this thread if they can help...
allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87149
"Goal: To copy a selection of my Contacts to another phone (Nokia 3100)
Obstacles:
* The 3100 does not have any IR, Bluetooth or USB-connections. So I conclude that the only possibility is to copy them onto the SIM card....?
* As I believe the SIM card will not hold all my Contacts (how do I check that?), I'm a bit stumped on how to easily copy a selection. - Going through the contacts pressing "Options > down-scroll x6 > Mark/Unmark > Mark" for approx 100 names seems too laborious! I've created a group and copied them to there (much quicker), but when in a group there is no option to 'copy to SIM'...
Any advice? TIA."
