My purchase of a smartphone is just around the corner. Right now I am very tempted by the n86, I like the slider mekanism in a phone (even though I could definitely do without the dual slider tbh). Atm though I am also awaiting the release for e72, and odds are it's gonna be one of these two phones that I purchase.
One thing that has me slightly annoyed with the n86 is the fact that the calendar seems a bit "sub-par" compared to the e71/e72. I remember, for instance, that on the e-phones u get the screen split in two, one displaying the months days, the other what is planned for the current day you are on. As opposed to this, the n86 seems to feature weak alternative, where the appointments set only show up as a small popup-bubble.
I realize this is a small annoyance, and I'll probably get used to it over time, but I would still like to know if there is any alternative calendar you can install, for some better functionality?
On a second note I'd like to ask the n86 users on this forums how long u generally go before u need to charge the phone?
I'm using "Handy Calendar" with my N86 and it works a treat. Similar to the Calendar on the E71 in layout but more intuitive and easier to use. What I like about "Handy" titles is that they are not tied to the IMEI so you can install them on your next phone when you upgrade.
