SMSXtender version 2.0.1 is now available. The only major change from version 1.5.2 is the new SMS editing screen. It's a separate screen now, displaying your entire message with a character counter (counting down from 160 to 0).

The new version can be downloaded from http://www.simeda.com/downloads/SMSXtender-2.0.1.zip

Thank you,
Razvan

You know what, there is only 1 thing missing in the program, the '+' in the sender number, there isn't enough space to put it.

You don't need to put it in there, it's added automatically. Try sending a message to yourself, you'll see.

and what about the price drazvan, still the same? not thinking of getting it cheaper? at laest the software should b free, and who ever needs more credits will buy!

and how long will it take to reach the other person? I mean sometimes the SMS service gets slow from time to time (depending on pressure on the network) so does that apply to your service too?

I've been using SMSXtender for a long time, and i can tell you that sms sent using SMSXtender reach the recipient in no-time.The only problem i had was GPRS related and operator dependant.

Thank you GhostDog . Yes, messages usually get delivered in under a minute. But yes, if the destination network is congested, it can take quite some time for the message to be sent from their SMSC to your handset. In over 90% of the cases though you can expect delivery in under 10 seconds.

Have downloaded the zip file. Where do I put the contents or which file do I execute - .jar or .jad?

You need to upload the JAR file to your phone and run it. What type of phone do you have? Email me at support@simeda.com if you need to take this off the forums.

Hello everyone,

We are about to launch a new Christmas application. I can't tell you what it does yet, but I need your help . I need to know the name of "Santa Claus" in your country and in your language. So far I know it's "Santa Claus" in English, "Pere Noel" in French, "Weihnachtsmann" in German. How do you call Santa in your language?

Thanks,
Razvan
