Alphanumeric SMS number field

Hi Guys,

Not sure if any of you can help.

I Synch my N73 with Outlook and all goes fine. Thing is that in my outlook contacts, I often comment my numbers with some text, eg, 022315263 - Dan Office Mobile, 786656325826 - Dan International mobile, etc.

Synch works great and all data is maintained - issue is that if I create an SMS message and then select one of the numbers to send to, the SMS function does not accept any of those numbers with alphanumeric entires - I can however copy the number from within the contacts area (USE NUMBER, COPY) and then paste that in the number area for the new SMS and that works.

Seems the "Select number" option when creating an SMS will only accept pure numeric entiries.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks
