Help with buying new headset...
So, my original AD-54 headset on my N95-3 stopped working correctly and I have decided to buy a new headset.
I thought about buying Pioneer SE-M290, but I have some questions.
I know it has 3.5mm jack, but will it be compatible with my phone?
Will there be any difference in battery life while playing music on this headset or playing music on original headset?
Thanks a lot!

any 3.5mm jack will be fine, its just an electrical signal, so there would be no difference in battery life as its sending the same single to the AD-54 as it will to any other headset that is wired in via the 3.5mm plug. The M290's are just a basic set of 'fones so

Thanks for quick answer, but I still have some doubts about it.
Is it possible that the M-290 are consuming more energy than AD-45?
It seems more logically to me as they have bigger speakers...
But on the other hand, with M-290 you can't hear so much noise around you, so the sound
should be louder that way, without need to increase volume and energy consumption.
What do you guys think?

I guess not. Will drain same energy.
Koss Porta-Pro is ugly, but have a excellent sound quality.

There is. I don't want to drain all the energy from my phone just by listening to music for 30 minutes or even less?
Oh yes, I know that this headphones produce better sound than AD-54.
But for being sure, I am asking you if you could tell me if they really produce better sound.

I would imagine that proportionally the energy usage of listening to music on your phone goes something like: -
processor: 40%
i/o: 40%
actually powering the headphones: 10%

have you experienced a time where listening to 30 mins of music via a certain type of headphones has killed your battery?
What I think is a better sound, could be different to what you think is a better sound, so the answer lies with you
