N73 which is the best service provider

Hi,

I'm interested in upgrading to the N73 but I would like to know which service providers don't mess with Nokia's firmware or do they all? I'm currently with Orange but I'm willing to change to another provider. I'm looking at moving over to 3 have any users got a N73 provided by 3 and how is regarding the firmware. Thanks in advance.

Andy

More or less all of them make some "bad" things to the firmware. Best of all, an unlocked phone. But you must search with service providers of your country or region, what they do to "destroy" the phones

Thumbs up Virgin Mobile

I bought my N73 from Virgin PAYG, for about £270, just before Christmas and mine seems to be unlocked and I've been able to download all firmwares as they been released..

Currently:
Product Code - 539101
Firmware - V3.0704.1.0.1

When I set 'Operator selection' to manual and search, the list returned is:

T-Mobile UK
O2 - UK
3 UK
vodafone UK
Orange

With no crosses or other such marks against any of them..

Just in case you don't know Virgin piggy back off the T-Mobile network..

I've had no problems (yet..)

And any functions I've been short of I've found a download to fulfill
