Ni Hao, ni hao ma? Wo bu shi zhong guo ren! Wo ai ni
My Chinese is very bad indeed, as you can tell.

The languages available on your phone are linked to whatever product code you currently are using on your phone.

The original product code is beside the serial number, underneath your battery, on the sticker.

For Chinese, you probably would prefer to use a product code that had: English, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional for input and output.

You may find that only Chinese Traditional is available, as that is the version of Chinese used in Hong Kong, where this phone is for sale:

0573780: Hong Kong Black
0559931: Hong Kong BLUE
0559473: Hong Kong RED
OR
0559857: Taiwan BLUE
0559472: Taiwan RED

Keep in mind Taiwan also use Traditional Chinese mainly.

If you change your product code to one of these, then run Nokia Software Updater on your PC, you will then have at least English and Chinese Traditional languages. You may even get Simplified Chinese and other Asian languages, but I can't confirm that.

To Mr.Greek:
No idea what product code you need, but it will be likely called MEDITERRANIAN, you'll need to do more searching online.

To both of you: Read the posts here to understand that you may lose your warranty if you change product code, and search to find ways to change it if you wish to proceed.

Sorry, misread your question:

To get the asian firmwares you need: APAC for phoenix, ie: 40.0.005_APAC.exe for example, this contains a lot of firmwares some Asian product codes. I imagine you're smart enough to find that on your own, maybe English/Russian/Chinese sites have it.
