Can people maybe post their Network Operators GPRS Settings, stating country, Operator and possibly whether these settings allow non-restrictive data (Web access)

Type in P800, then go to WAP configurator. It does it all for you, by sending an sms to your phone with the settings[/quote]
Just had a look at this, it looks very good! It has got the settings for lots of providers (all of the dutch ones) and you can config GPRS, WAP, MMS and Email!
Couldn't test it, I am still waiting for my P800....

Are't we all 😃
Except those 'lucky' ones that got the early release date (BTW: I'm talking to any of you :P )
😃 😃 😃
I'm using the settings from:
http://navasgrp.home.att.net/tech/cingular/gprs_setup.htm
The first day I wasn't sure the settings were right because of some IMAP4 connection issues, but I tried again a few days later and everything worked. Cingular is obscenely priced for GPRS however, so for now I've got tho 1MB for $7US, but will probably move myself to the 7MB as it's been excessively useful.
I just published the wap/mail/gprs/mms settings for the two norwegian operators, Telenor and Netcom, on my site. The explanation is in norwegian, but the settings are done on my P800 running english software, so they should be understandable.
The WAP-settings for Netcom allows non-restrictive data, the Telenor settings I'm not sure of, since I haven't tested them yet. Netcoms WAP-account does not work for email, so you need a normal data-account for that, but it works fine for surfing html-content.

php-nuke installed, all settings available through main-page; http://opheim.com
Cant get my internet working
Did read manual, providers homepage, sms autoconfig and so on.
I get logged on by my provider (tried different providers in Norway and Sweden to different account including providers and home connection), but then I only see the SE logo jumping... 😉
I am connected in 28,8 speed, and as soon I try to change page after about 45 sec it says error at server, but I am still connected :-? :-? :-?
So I have never seen the look when surfing or Wapping
Would be great if any could get me into right direction...
Maby I missed something importent 😮ops:
well try this:
https://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clients/ericsson/jv/wap/new/default.asp
this is the site for each country !! please note: maybe you have to restart after receiving the settings !!
Tele2 in Sweden has now finally found out their GPRS-configurations. Call their support (+46) 0200-224050 and ask for someone that masters GPRS. They will hopefully soon publish an autoconfig-sms for P800 on their wapsite, http://www.tele2.se/wap.
Hi Shadow!
Nope! Did not work 😞
I tried that and also called SE support.
They never heard about that problem
Shipping the phone and get a new in 3 working days. 😃
Hope thats true!
The god news is that I am not that stupid! 😃

Used the following URL for UK's O2 as suggested by a previous post. O2's customer 'support' doesn't know how to do it but the web site worked a treat. Busy browsing and using up my Mbytes already.

Are these connections for the P800 or the T68i? If I use the the wap configurator on the Sony Ericsson Site it gives me the dial up connection. What I need is the wap over GPRS connection since this is free and the other isnt, its P.50 /kb 😞 I was able to connect before but after I tried using that wap configurator of SE i cant connect anymore. But when I am hooked up to the laptop or PC i can surf using broadband connection without any probs use Operah. I dont really know what happend..
I am also in the Philippines pare, in Cebu to be exact.
Just called globe's tall free number 211 and talked to the operator.
type "go P800" and send to 2951
You will get the settings..
Im still testing them now.
This is for Globe Teleceomms Subscribers in the Philippines
Settings work. One thing I noticed was that operah has gone crazy. I cant connect using operah anymore but can connect using the built in browser. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling again but I still get the same thing. But if I use broadband, operah can connect without any problems. Ay suggestions?
Hey finally got it to work! Here is what I did. YOu see I had three settings.
1.) myglobe MMS -this settings were sent by my provider and work fine.
2.) myglobe - this is that wap over gprs connection that works with the built in browser.
3.) globe-dial: which I got from SE's website. This is the one I edited to work with operah. Under Control panel -->internet account --> I changed the connection type fro, dial up to GPRS. It made the username and password and the dial up number dissapear and in the advanced button I replaced it the address to "internet.globe.com.ph" And now it all works!! 😊
One thing imconfused with though, since imnot using dial up, does this mean that my connection is still free? Is this considered as WAP over GPRS or not anymore?
Here's the link to how my provider charges:
http://www.myglobe.com.ph/portal/faqs.asp?conid=610&categoryid=176&title=faqs
and here is the link to its guide for all the configurations (no P800 yet though)
http://www.myglobe.com.ph/portal/faqs.asp?conid=607&categoryid=176&title=faqs
Hope this helps someone and someone please enlighten me if a am being charged Php .50 /kb already when I use operah 😞
Here's a test that I did:
I tried to use the connectionI did above with the built in browser and it doesnt work.
So there is one connection for the buil in browser which I think is wap over GPRS.
and
Another connection for Operah which is think is dial up but what I dont understand is it is still using GPRS as its connection.
According to my providers rate page (click link above) or look below on the bold letters.
