I've got a 64k card which is fine, but i need to free some comm. memory. I've tried moving all but the ini. files to mmc but the apps don't work. I'm a carpenter, i work with wood, this is freaking me out 'cos i can't run certain progs without a reboot.I've tried taskman(rmr?) but i can't clean the memory,possibly down to a bug. Help somebody..I'm sure this is a problem that a kid can solve without thinking, but i can hand cut dovetail joints so there!! Seriously, what can i move from c to [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] without hitting a file not found scenario?
Please and thanks
Mark.

It's good that there is lot of free memory in c (about 3.5MB of 4MBtot) but there is also 8Mb memory for programms as working memory what you can free up only killing tasks.
First, you have to install everything to d, and if you want, you can install also programms that are normally in c, to d(all_nokia_9210_data.sis to MMC), but you must format your device before that..

As JeP says all-nokia-data.sis is your file. Depedning on your firmware you might want to consider downloaded the updated version from the Nokia support site.
My recommednation would be to start everything again (do a complete reinstall). Obviously it would a good plan to move the Contacts and E-mail Store to the MMC as well.

When you install apps the sis file stays on the C drive (even if you install to D). There are 2 ways to tackle this, either set your 9210 NOT to save the SIS file [1] (which I do) or move the SIS files from C to D (which I also do).
The SIS files on the C drive can be found at C\System\Install. Move everything from here to D\System\Install except the LOG file - this must remain on C.
[1] Even if you choose to NOT keep the SIS files small SIS files are still stored - these are basically uninstall SIS files and are needed if you want to uninstall something. - These can still be moved to the D drive as mentioned above.

Btw,
There seems to be bug at moving contacts to the MMC as Manowar post earlier..
<!-- BBCode u1 Start --> http//www.allabouter6.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=127&forum=1&11<!-- BBCode u1 End -->
But message store seems to work fine when you move it to the MMC.

For MANOWAR If I ever do go to Madrid (and it's a good possibility - wife wants to go - she speaks fluent spanish - from New Mexico USA) then I'll buy you a drink - for all the files uploaded to <!-- BBCode auto-link start --> www.n9210.co.uk<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

if i move all the sis files from C to D, would i still be able to remove/uninstall these applications?
