smtp "auth login" -> mail problems on the 9290

Anybody know if there is a way around this?

Is there an email program I can use to send email through a
site that uses this?

What about poping mail from a site where my user name is different
from my smtp site:

"domain.org@domain.org" @ pop.site.com
"username" @ smtp.isp.com

Even the passwords are different but that's ok; I can set them
to be the same.

Here's what the smtpauth site{RECIEVE:pop.site.com|SEND:smtp.site.com}looks like:
