Orange MMS

I Had A Prepaid Orange SimCard And Have Now Placed It In 3650. I Phoned Up Orange Support Who Send 2 Config Msgs, One ForMMS And Other For WAP.

WAP Access Works But MMS Does Not Just Does Not Seem To Send, The Right Access Points Are Selected. Orange Wont Help Because They Dont Support The Phone Yet :-(

Any Help?

Don't tell them it's a 3650, tell them it's a 7650.
The settings will be the same.

You may find that they have added the service to your phone - but it's not setup at their end for your number.

Have you tried the obvious things like rebooting your phone?

What error do you get?

Will.

What Happened Is They Sent Me Two Sim Updates Then I Had To Reboot The phone, I Then Recieved Two Config. Messages Which I Saved To Settings (these were for the 7650) rebooted again. WAP Seems To Work Ok. But In MMS The Flashing G Comes Up Stays On For A Few Secs. Then Disappears And The Message Is Still In The Outbox, I Try To Force Send And All I Get Is Message Send Failed.

If the G just flashes then your not getting a GPRS connection..

This is what the settings should be for Orange:

NAME: Orange MMS
URL: http://mms.orange.co.uk
Session: Permatent
APN: orangemms
IP: 192.168.224.10

Perhaps they have turned on your WAP gprs but not MMS

Normally Orange are pretty good thou, give them a quick call

Best

Of course it will work - If you are on the Orange GPRS network then you are 'inside' their network and able to access their 192 range

They act like a 'proxy' for Internet access - they are the gateway to the internet, not your phone - you connect to them the same way your PC connects to your Gateway/router/firewall in the office, on a private IP - that then talks to the internat on a 'public' IP.

It works - believe me..

Those settings were taken from an Orange phone which we use to test everyday.

Best
