p800 Freezes on startup screen

I've seen some other people have had this problem but I have not seen any solutions. I haven't had any problems with my phone before this situation.

I was doing a sync, and the phone told me that I was low on memory. I cancelled the sync, removed the p800 from the cradle and then got the yellow exclamation point error with the #10. I held down the power switch for 10 seconds to power it off. When I restarted, the unit is now just frozen after the startup animation on the sony p800 screen. I have tried removing the battery, removing the memory stick etc. I can't access the service menu I don't think.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
