BBC Stations now usable on Nokia Internet Radio
All of the BBC radio stations are now available on AAC streams (presumably for itunes/apple cusotmers) - and these streams work fine on Nokia Internet Radio.
(I notice the BBC radio 1 streams are now showing in the Internet Radio station directory)
The AAC streams are listed here http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/aac.asp
(the Nokia internet radio player needs to be closed, when you first open a PLS file)
To avoid having to download the PLS every time you listen, for convinience, I've packaged them into easy to use/save links from the phone browser:

Great news
That's fantastic. I've been listening to Radio 4 on YourMuze for years, now because the Beeb doesn't allow foreigners to use the iPLayer. Not that YM is bad but what's the point of having a wonderful multitasking phone when you lose your radio stream when people call or can't make notes or browse while listening to the radio?

I have just switched to an E5 from an E71 for the UMA support, and cannot use Kinoma any more, so have tried to set up radio using your Radio 4 link. It opens the internet radio player, and Radio 4 appears in the window, but when I select it, I receive an error message "'Unable to connect to station'. What am I doing wrong please?

You're not necessarily doing anything wrong
HI
I sometimes get that message when I select BCC Worldservice. Sometimes I have to try another route - one of the other Worldservice buttons or via a station in the US. Then all of a sudden the original one works again.
The BBC doesn't necessarly keep an eye on the streams.
I might be wrong in this case, but ....

Rodan, this could be for multiple reasons...
Do you have a PC to try and play the link in something like foobar2000? (that will give a more meaningful error message if it can't connect)
Try http://www.honeyball.com/radio/international.html which will give the international streams (might help?)
hughm_nyk_sj, yes, these BBC streams do go down from time to time which is annoying...

Sadly, for most apps Ovi store says they aren't compatible with E90 Communicator, although they actually ARE. And you can't download those apps if Nokia thinks your phone isn't compatible.
From the very beginning, E90 has been the phone Nokia loves to hate, God only knows why. An other example: E90 is NOT listed among the QWERTY phones, you have to search it within the 'classic form factor' phones (probably to make sure you won't find it).
