Question E61 rescued from bottom drawer!

It was left with battery inserted which is now quite dead!

Is it possible to fire the phone up without a battery? So far all attempts have been unsucessful :(

you probably will have to let it charge for a while before it comes on :/ or go buy a new battery lol
