It did not work. The Notifications Support Package installation fails with exactly the same error as the Ovi Store installation, "Unable to install".

Also tried a fresh version of the latest four Qt installation packages but it didn't make any difference.

I thought I'd already posted a link, probably my mistake.

Yesterday I found a link from beta labs with a 'solution' to the Ovi Store installation problem; here's the URL: http://apkfiles.co.cc/2011/symbian-o...ix-for-c7.html

Tried the 'solution', it failed in the usual place.

I've got my eye on an N9 now anyway It seems to do most things that I use my N8 for.

Have tried a couple more times but I still get 'unable to install' on step 6 (and step 7 if I blindly continue).

Did you correctly install everything before that error from the .rar he gave? I installer the first 2 and didn't install the Qt files cause I already had it installed from Qt SDK
