Wiping the INNOV8

Does anyone know what I need to do to completely wipe everything off my Samsung INNOV8 so that it clears all the files, calendar entries and text messages?

I have tried the factory reset but that just sends it back to factroy settings without wiping anything...

You could try the 3 finger reset that works on Nokia smartphones. I haven't done this myself on the i8510 but here's how it works with Nokias:

While the phone is powered off, hold *, 3 and the call button at the same time and power the phone on until it comes up with a screen asking you to select your country.

I just tried this on my Samsung Innov8 and a red screen that says ALL DOWNLOAD appears. I had to take out the battery to get the phone to work again. This command didn't seem to do anything. Maybe if I held down these buttons for longer.

When you want to change back to Day or night mode just follow these steps again.
