a) you're exagerating (of course)
b) the real problem isn't that you can't do lots in 60MB of free RAM, though I agree Nokia should have put a lot more in. It's that Nokia's software keeps getting hungrier for RAM and system disk space. And web sites keep getting more bloated, which means more RAM needed etc.

There was a sweet spot at the start of 2010 when even the N97 classic was fit for purpose. but Ovi Maps and Nokia Messaging and external factors have been conspiring against it ever since. 8-(

I express opinions that are hopefully valid at the exact time I express them. The world changes though, and I couldn't recommend the N97 classic to a friend, mid 2010. Even at the end of 2009 I was steering people towards the N97 mini instead, with its extra system disk space.
