Upgrading to V21 - N97 on 3
Hey Guys, I recently got a contract with 3, got a N97 Black.
Looking around, I noticed that V21 was out, right now Im on v20.0.019, which Im guessing is the latest 3 firmware for this phone.
So I was looking for step-by-step instructions on how to mayb debrand my phone so I can get V21, or just any way of getting V21, since apparently it has better call reliability, and I've been experiencing random signal dropouts lately so I guess this would help me.
Thanks in advance for any help guys,
Jake.

And this will let me upgrade to v21 right?
Thanks.
EDIT: + If I ever need to return the phone, Can I get the 3 firmware back on it without bricking it? Thanks.

You can only get v21 so long as the product code that you choose supports it.
You can change the product code back to3's code and get 3's firmware back ONLY if the firmware is greater than the one installed (there are other, more complicated ways, of getting around this).
Good luck!

I couldn't be a "mod" I'm afraid. I couldn't handle the thrice weekly meetings at the lap dancing club and the all-night drinking sessions.

Spot on dog man, or at least I would have been if I were old enough.

so wrong ... you can flash the phone without changing product code by using Phoenix or JAF. Not everything has to be done through NSU.
