Question Oh noes! I dropped my e71...

Hi all...I just need some advice on warranty and repair.

I've had my e71 for about 2 months and i've always used the wrist strap. About 2 days ago, the strap snapped and as a result the phone fell to the floor and became damaged.

i'm wondering if this should be covered by the warranty. In my opinion, the strap failed causing the damage and it's essentially part of the product.

Luckily I have insurance but I have to pay a 50 excess but in my opinion, this is not accidental damage. It happened as a result of part of the product.

I've had a look through the e71's manual and I see no disclaimers saying use of the strap would be at my own risk.

Can anybody offer some advice?

Thankyou
kie
