Installing apps failure, certificate expired.. on N85 8MP?

I am trying to install various applications but many keep failing saying certificate error or certificate expired.
The same apps work on the n95 so I am not sure why this is.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Cerificate expired is a regular problem . Just set clock back e.g. 1/2 to maybe even 4 years , depending on relaesedate of the Application .
Setting clock back to far , the message wil be : certificate to early .
Certificate error , the most regular : when Application Manager is set to online check .
In this case set Application Manager to "All" and "Off" .

thanks. The thing is these apps are the most up to date like Y browser for example. This app works on the n95 but not the N86 8MP...

That's surprising to hear . Y-Browser and X-Plore are supposed to work on S60 v 3 devices . Even they work on S60 v 5
