Question After firmware update, unlock activates camera??

Im wondering if others have the similiar issue as i am, after the firmware update on a U.S model, when i unlock my phone when i get a sms or it locks for a duration of time, my camera app turns on.. im pretty confident it isnt me pressing the camera button because the app is already up as soon as i unlock the phone. any ideas?

well i guess no one is going through this issue, but i already hard resetted my phone and still having the issue maybe its me pressing the camera button before i lock the phone or unlock the phone.. when i get a chance i will try to redo the firmware update but i would of thought others here could have the same issue. but i think a way to remedy the issue is to disable the camera button from initiating the camera program since the camera door cover already does it.

So does anybody kno how to disable the shutter button from activating the camera program?

I am willing to bet that you are using a non standard leather case that has a magnetic clip.

The magnet turns the camera app on when it comes into contact with the phone (it thinks you have slid the lens cover).

I've changed my case since then to a slide one without a clip and no magnets and its fine.

Just be thankful you didn't have an N91. That case of yours would've wiped it clean in seconds!
