The Nokia N96 gets a big firmware update: v12.043

I have an N96 which is vodafone-branded. does anybody know when I might be able to get this update?

Lol, I spent 5 hours on the phone to them before I spoke to anybody who knew what they were talking about. He said that V10 was so unstable they were forced to do the update to V11 as soon as they could.
Unfortunately he also said they have no intention of doinf the update to V12 any time soon, and it not in any means a priority of theirs.
I took the phone to a nokia care point and got the vadafone branded software removed and the official nokia software and latest update installed.

This has invalidated my warranty, but that the last of my worries. Atleast I have a usable phone now. Well nearly.......The bluetooth streaming has improved no end but still needs more tweaking as there is a still a jump but only once a minute instead of once every 10 seconds.
Still a bit annoying though as it was one of the main reasons I bought the phone, along with the storage space.

I've attempted to OTA update but it kept telling me no update is available (even though it said that there was a new version?! 0

So, I opted to do it via NSU...so far it's been saying "Estimated time left: 2 minutes" for almost an hour.

The phone has rebooted several times and for the last 45mins it's been displaying 12.043 Test mode Nokia.

Anyone got any advice?

hi,
after doing the update i have reinstaled all of my files but it wont let me change the wallpaper. any ideas? :S
