That sound pretty scary at first but how many PDA can be ABUSED for 7 hours. IPAQ, CLIE... I don't think so.

I dont think it will be an issue. From all the reports I've heard the P800 is one speedy beast..

Thanks for looking at my site
Thank you everyone for looking on my site. What I meant by a full 7 hours of intensive use was web browsing while on speakerphone with bluetooth turned on. I had about 7% battery left when I got back. Anything you guys want to see in particular? I'm willing to post whatever people are interested in.

I dunno about that, but my series 5 has an 18mhz processor, and that seems to work fast enough.
Its not about the clock speed of your processor, but how you use it

battery life
i've been playing with a prototype p800 for a little while now and it does eat up it's battery. i wouldn't say i've been "abusing it" but i've been using it in a "new toy" way - which is obviously more abusive than normal use - and i'm having to charge it every night... i /could/ get two days use of it, but i can't be sure that it will last two days.

Irrelevant
I've been using a P800 prototype for the past 4 months as well, and upgrading it regularly. Your note that the battery runs out in your prototype version is irrelevant for the product, as the power management features are added in the latest software versions. It matters if the function is there to close down the CPU after period of inactivity...

You said that your running a p800 prototype which you're updating regularly. Where do you get your updates from? I have a precommercial unit as well, and I'd like to update the fw as well
