Has anybody debranded their nokia N82 ?

Hi, has anybody debranded their Black Nokia N82 on orange, if you have can you tell me the latest product codes i will need as i want to debrand it a-s-a-p, i also have the latest firmware as its the black n82 with V 20.0.062 RM-313...Any help Please...And instructions...

Why de-brand if you already have the latest FW?

However, if you must de-brand, try the following:-

Hi, and many thanks for the above info, reason i want to debrand is to get rid of the horrible orange branded software, especially when you turn the phone on etc, i want it to be nokias software as i prefer, do you think i should leave alone then? And again thanks from

I understand why you want to debrand, but just be aware that I debranded my Orange N95 in April 2007, and when it went faulty in April 2008, Nokia Repair centre detected it had "unauthorised firmware version" and cancelled my warranty.

Some say that if you send a debranded handset back to the Network instead of Nokia, that they will repair or replace a faulty (de-branded) handset wiht no questions asked.

Your choice, but your risk also.
