P1i refuses to connect to wifi

i hare a USB Wifi Encore ENUWI-G2, and the P1i conect to the lan, the icon change from gray to blue, appear the globe, but the opera don't work, still say "cannot connect to remote server"

i'm very unhappy with this... i made all that i can, change IPs, Ad host, AP, Intraestructure.... made an wifi acount, try to conect with default wifi accound and nothing....

anybody try to make same i did? conect p1i to usb wifi???

In most cases P1i connects to the network but the applications cannot access the web.
I had the same problem but the solution i found was to reduse the threshoud to 2346.
for this go to internet accounts /more/advanced and change RTS threshold to 2346 and powersave to OFF

now ur browser should be able to access the web.

we do not know if we can change our router to b only - how did you do that? I have tried changing the other thing the last guy suggested but that did not work.

that DID work, connected fine, but now back to same problem. I can't leave the WEP off though so its not a good solution. Did anyone find a solution that actually worked?

Hi, I found a solution to my case, when the phone gets connected and the "blue ball" is displayed but the browser still didn't work.

Well, first, trying to fall one of your advises, I got go in to my speedtouch modem configuration to change the wireless router mode to just 802.11b instead of the B+G hybrid mode. It never saved the change, so I continued exploring the wep security configuration and there was a keyword (or password) that I must configure in my P1, in control panel, connections, internet accounts, (my wlan connection), security WEP, more, next, key WEP 1: "here you type the key if it exists in your router configuration".

That keyword was stopping me to navegate in internet, after that, I surf in the web at wifi way.

Hopping this be usefull for somebody with same problem.
