I have a 02 Contact that is up for renewal and I currenly have the N95 and was thinking of upgrading to the N95 8GB but wanted to see what other people have been offered by 02. When I called the retention team they offered me the 0nline 50 (1200min/1000txt) that is normally £50 a month and they would give a £15 discount so I would be paying £35 a month and the handset is free for 12months contract. My current phone usage is 700min a month with a monthly bill of £60 as I'm going over my current 500min limit.
i took out a contract with them last weekend. i'm on 600 mins 500 texts a month plus 1 free bolt on which is chose unlimited internet access. £35 a month. £42.50 with insurance.
sound like you've got deal there. However after 12 months will you have to start paying for the phone ?
I phoned up today again and they mentioned that they can only provide a maximum of £15 off there tariffs on a 12mth contract but if I went for a 18mth contract then there would be more on offer (i.e free web browsing). I prefer a 12mth contract as I like a new phone and every 12mths there always better deals.
12 Month contract with FREE N95 8GB:
600min / 500txt - Normally £40 but with £15 off it would be £25
800min / 500txt - Normally £45 but with £15 off it would be £30
I went for the first deal at £25 a month
