Changing the message inbox view?

On the nokia N73 when I used to view messages I had it so it only used one line, and I could view more messages at a glance, and it also told me the time the message was sent at a glance, which I found useful.

Has this option been removed from the N82? why would this small option have been removed? Is there any way I can view it on one line like I can on the Nokia N73?
