I am really confused, i searched the symbian os website but couldn't find out if i can download and install symbian os 9.5 on my nokia 6260, though its in symbian phone list at symbian.com but still i am not sure,because my phone was released in 2004, maybe too old for latest symbian os? Will my nokia 6260 support symbian OS 9.5 ?
Syambian phones cannot be upgraded to a newer version of the OS like Windows Mobile ones. You can only us updates released by Nokia for the firmware of the device, sepcific for the device, not generic. This update is generally for software on the S60 platform, not for the OS itself.
