Yea ...this is disgusting by the operators, I actually think its illegal as far as free trade is concerned .. you can compare I think to a monopoly .. I hope people will move away from operators that are doing this sort of thing...eventually the little guy will win ...If I was in UK I would def join in with a class action lawsuit against the operators as they are restricting the use of a product that they sell with features that they advertise (maybe not VOIP), but wifi which could be considered to include VOIP
The operators should move with the times and consider a solution for whatever the market throws at them,
yeah, theres a few interesting comments on this in the thread, but at the end of the day it seems to be down to the shareholders wanting to line their pockets rather than give as good a service as is possible to their customers.
