Nokia N72 camera problem

I recently moved to Kuwait and bought a N72 in country. I got a hard plastic cover case with it but when I open the lens the camera does not come on and when I manually turn the camera on it says Camera on standby: open lens cover.

Get an original casing to avoid such issues.
