My P990 has a nasty habit of suddenly showing the web icon, even when I have not started the connection. When I go to connection manager, it seems as if the bluetooth and ewap connections are connecting automatically. Even when I close connection in the manager, the icon disappears for a moment and reappears. Then after a long while sometimes it disappears on its own or sometimes persists.
