Do Not Try To Replace The 6620 Faceplate!!!

The 6620 will not take any of the faceplates available on-line! I believe the 6600s are able to except the faceplates, but not the 6620.
Yes I did attempt to take my OEM faceplate off on my 6620, and you can unlatch the bottom 2 clips on each side. But when you try to loosen the rest of the case it will start pulling out the internal board. Man...talk about nerve recking, $300.00 and I just wanted to put a rubberized cover on it because the OEM plate is damn slippery! Are there any phoneskins available for the 6600/6620? If so can someone help me out. Thanks and I hope I stopped alot of you from breaking your phones. Plus the warranty would be noll n void after you switch out the plates.

Did you try to loosening the two screws in the middle?
One of the difference between 6620 and 6600 is these two screws. Loosen them, you'll be able to replace the faceplate

while the covers look similar they will not fit, screws or otherwise. 6600 does not have the same pop port connecter or camera lens, ie: battery cover no fit. same goes for the faceplate with the pop port. not to mention all the lock in tabs are different enough so that even if you modified the plate you still would not be able to make it work. i know cuz i bought three for nothing. as far as i know 6620 faceplates do not exist. sites that advertize 6600/6620 faceplates are full of it. the are in no way compatible.

I guess if you jack the screen to badly, our poor phones will be making a trip to the Nokia repair facility for a replacement face...

it sucks but you are probably right. maybe if the 6620 gains some popularity we might see some proper accessories. currently there is no stereo pop port connecter for stereo headphones or an fm transmitter unless you modify one of thier stereo headsets and absolutely no faceplates at all.
i've dropped my phone three times already and my factory faceplate is lookin' real bad. i guess i'll have to pay for a mold and have my own made, should only cost a few grand,lol.

Heloo I am from Poland and I've the same ( or bigger) problem than you I can't find anywhere faceplate for 6620 . Maybe you know any possible way to find this shit can be used( doesn't have to be new) maybe you heard about some auction example 6620 for pieces or something please help if you can my adrees is kingkill33@tlen.pl thanks for all
