Ultra Mp3 on N70?
Please, can someone test Ultra Mp3 on an N70 and see if it works. I notice Ogg Player does not work. All my music is ogg and I need Ultra to work or I will not have a way to play my music.
Thanks

I have tested UltraMP3 v1.52, and it works on Nokia N70.
Still, in my opinion it sounds like the embedded MP3 player plays
louder, and have better audio quality!
And worst, UltraMP3 handles multitasking very badly compared
to the embedded player which runs flawless regardless what
you're doing on your phone..

i rather stick with mp3 format..what i do is degrade it with a mp3 converter...i make all my mp3 at 80 bitrate..and the quality and sound is still crisp.

I tested ...
Hi!...
i tested the same "Nokia Music Player" that itīs build on N70 on 6680, and compared on the same 6680 with OggPlay .. and the sound quality on both.. OggPlay and Nokia Music Player itīs almost identical ... Beside the UltraMP3 sound quality really stink .. sounds near like AM radio to me ... bad stereo, no detail, no depth, no nothing...
Now i tested on N70 (Nokia Music Player) and the quality i think itīs the same like OggPlay MMF version (for 6630/6680)
All this tests playing Mp3s ... diferent bit rates... 128, 192, 256, 320 ...
i am very happy with the Sound quality on N70 ... i hear an iPod Photo some days ago... and both with the build headphones and iPod sound really bad compared with 6630/6680 or N70 using Nokia Music Player or OggPlay ... again iPod has no fine detail on harmonics, no depth.. less bass.. etc.. i think the only thing that iPod has is more volume.. but more volume to ear bad things? ... i preffer hi-fi over the volume, i think that N70 /6680/6630 has faster CPU processor than cheap CPU on iPods.. so the mp3 decoding process itīs faster and less Jitter occur before it converted to analog signal .
cya!

OggPlay will get fixed for N70 at some point. It would get fixed faster if I had an N70 though
Does anybody know which Nokia SDK I need for the N70. Maybe it will be broken on emulator too. If so I could fix it without needing to have an N70.
