Really Need Help With Data Cable, Confused!!!!

Hi, I have recently bought a USB data cable off of ebay for my 6600, you plug in the sim and battery and it fits in the back of the phone.

I installed the drivers ant stuff for it, but i cant get it to work, I need an application that is compatible with it. Nokia one isnt and oxygen also looks as if it only supports IR and bluetooth.

Please help me, have i just wasted my money????

I have also just ordered a bluetooth dongle but thats not the point lol :-)

Wasted yer money there mate. Data cables dont work with 6600 (or didn't last time I looked).

Actually yes, it wa s a waste of money, sorry to say... I was thinking about it too, but they said, only infra and BT awailable for 6600. :(

Actually they have been known to work,but it really is just that,the few people that have managed to get them working say its too much hassle with so many problems.

I seemed to have problems posting for a second, otherwise i would have replyed prompter.

Thanks for your help, hopefully my BT Dongle with hurry up and come through from Hong Kong.

aha, guessing this was the thread i was looking for, i have a 6600 which my cousin gave me cause he got a new phone and he gave it to me with a usb data cable were i have to take the back of the phone off put the chip and battery in the decive and plug it onto the back of the phone, the only problem i have that he lost the driver cd for the cable and i couldent find any on the net. so i am guessing bluetooth is the way to go for using my mobile with my computer unless there are drivers now that someone could guide me too =0?
